Please read these terms carefully before using Chati's WhatsApp Business API platform, including the ChatiAI Shopify application, and related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Chati, a product of Crunchy Media Private Limited ("Company," "we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our WhatsApp Business API platform, Shopify public application, multi-channel messaging services, automation tools, and related features (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").
By registering, accessing, installing, or using the Platform (including via Shopify), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.
Service Description
- •WhatsApp Business API integration for broadcast messaging, chatbots, and customer engagement
- •Multi-channel messaging across RCS, SMS, Instagram Direct Message, and Facebook Messenger
- •AI-powered chatbots and conversational automation
- •Customer Data Platform (CDP) with analytics, segmentation, and reporting tools
- •Automation workflow builder and drip marketing campaigns
- •Live chat inbox with team collaboration features
For Shopify merchants, Chati AI also provides order notifications, customer messaging, automation, and integrations using Shopify APIs and webhooks.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software code, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are the exclusive property of Chati or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your Usage Rights
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Access and use the Platform for legitimate business purposes
Create and manage messaging campaigns for your customers
Integrate our Services with your business systems via authorized APIs
User Obligations and Acceptable Use
- ✕Send unsolicited messages, spam, or engage in harassment
- ✕Violate applicable laws or third-party rights
- ✕Transmit harmful, abusive, defamatory, or objectionable content
- ✕Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- ✕Interfere with Platform performance or infrastructure
- ✕Reverse engineer or extract source code
- ✕Use the Platform in violation of Shopify Terms of Service, WhatsApp Business Policy, or Meta
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
Account Registration and Security
- •Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- •Maintain and promptly update your account information
- •Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- •Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
Payment Terms and Billing
Chati offers subscription-based and usage-based pricing.
For Shopify merchants, billing (if applicable) is processed through Shopify’s billing system
For non-Shopify users, payments are processed via authorized payment provider
- •Pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription plan
- •Provide valid payment information and authorize automatic recurring billing (if applicable)
- •Pay WhatsApp Conversation Credits (WCCs) or message credits as per platform usage
Service Availability and Modifications
- •Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform with or without notice
- •Perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service
- •Update features, APIs, or integrations to improve functionality or security
Some features depend on third-party platforms such as Shopify, Meta, or WhatsApp, and availability may be affected by changes in those platforms.
Limitation of Liability
- •Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform
- •Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- •Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
- •Service interruptions, errors, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control
Termination
- •You breach any provision of these Terms
- •We are required to do so by law or regulatory authority
- •Your account has been inactive for an extended period
- •You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
